What services does MayDay provide?

 

MayDay provides a wide range of services to abuse victims during a crisis and, in many cases, over extended periods of time.  In addition, the staff works to share information in schools and throughout the community as part of our prevention efforts.

Crisis Services and Support Services
  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week crisis hotline

  • Information and referrals to community resource 

  • Hospital and Court Accompaniment

  • Protection order assistance

  • Safe emergency shelter for victims and their children

Prevention and Education Services
  • School programs related to domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, bullying, and technology safety

  • Speakers and presentations for service clubs and other groups

  • Use of mass media to educate the public about abuse and their role in preventing or responding to it
